UKATA Duty to manage: Extension to asbestos awareness

Course Objective

The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Regulation 4.

Our course provides an overview of the duty to manage asbestos in non-domestic premises as specified in CAR 2012. This course can also include asbestos awareness to raise awareness of those attending regarding the uses, potential dangers and likely uses of asbestos exposure in both domestic and commercial buildings.

Attendees of this course will become familiar with asbestos survey results and how to interpret the information contained within the survey report, its contribution to the asbestos register as well as the need for an asbestos management plan.

Our training course is directed at those who manage or assist in managing non-domestic premises and for any persons who require an overview of the duty to manage asbestos and legislative implications. This would include but is not limited to, appointed person’s assistants, building owners, landlords, managing agents and any person assisting duty holders in the compliance with CAR 2012 Regulation 4.
