About the Academy

Our Training Academy has been carefully designed to create a clear and structured path to kick start your career in Environmental Services. By the end of the three-year course, successful trainees will be fully qualified in both asbestos surveying and analytical work and will meet the criteria to achieve Project Manager role at Riverside.

Academy students embark on a three-year programme consisting of on the job training, mentorship, self-studying, and courses/examinations. As you progress through the programme and achieve milestones this is reflected in your overall compensation package.

Who can join the Academy?

We’re looking for passionate individuals with attention to detail who enjoy learning on the job and would benefit greatly from structured mentorship. You’ll need to:

  • Have a level 3 qualifications (Degree, A levels, AS or NVQ 3 minimum)
  • Commit to 2-4 own time learning hours per week
  • Have a full UK driving licence and enjoy driving
  • Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check
  • Be friendly, professional and hard working
  • Be comfortable sitting technical audits and exams
  • Be methodical in your approach to your work
